Arrival presents its next release by welcoming established Silk artist Kobana with his track "The First Attempt". The original mix quickly launches the main chords which play rather well with the arpeggios underneath. A rolling bassline and a frisky beat deliver a great groove to support the soothing melodies in this track. A few variations are also added to the main melody to enhance the overall atmosphere.
On the first remix duty we have Kazusa who delivers a really smooth interpretation: the combination of a unique melody on top of a bell arpeggio riff creates a lush soundscape that goes extremely well with the chord stabs in the background. The remix also includes a delicate beat with crisp percussion effects.
Rounding out the release is Basil O'Glue whose version contains a little rougher perspective. A deep bassline is soon introduced as well as hard-hitting chord stabs, and these give the track a techy edge accompanied by an array of trance elements and groovy textures.
